Best:

1.) Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows. It made me cry.

Worst:

1.) A Lion Among Men. Just... WTF MAGUIRE? The lion comes off as a tool.
2.) Twilight. Bella is a whiny brat.
3.) The Sims 3 Instructions. So shit... doesn't help much at all.

With less than a week left until new Dollhouse episodes air, I've been surprised to see absolutely no advertisement of its return - yes we got canceled, but word is that all the episodes from here on out are absolutely fantastic, and as such they deserve to actually be seen!

I think it would be lovely to go out with a bang and raise the ratings from what they were previously. Let's do our show proud and spread the word!

Radar ran out of dog food yesterday, so before I fed him lunch just now I had to open a new bag. Most of it made it into the storage container, but some of it - maybe slightly more than he usually has in a meal - went skittering across the floor.

I went for a broom and dustpan and came back to see him meticulously working his way across the kitchen, eating everything that fell. Usual meals take him three minutes, five tops. This took him closer to ten since a lot of it was under the pushed-in chairs, and then when he was done he went and sat by his food bowl with such an expression of "okay, where's lunch?"

He got another couple mouthfuls of food in the bowl. A treat won't hurt him, and big puppy dog eyes do work, even when they're not puppies any longer.

Discovery of the afternoon: my laptop stacked on top of a throw pillow stacked on top of a napping dog is an acceptable setup for doing grading, in that the grading gets done and Radar doesn't think he's being ignored.

Discovery of last night: my father has eight types of extracts in the spice cabinet. Not included among these choices is vanilla. Fortunately, orange and almond both work when making fudge. (Peppermint does, too, but it's not a 1:1 substitution like the others are and I didn't want to get it wrong on food I'm expecting other people to eat.)

Happy Thanksgiving (or Thursday) everyone. Right now I'm, yes, grading, and watching the recording of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I have seen the Kermit balloon, so all is well. In a little bit, I'm heading over to a friend's house for dinner. It's shaping up to be a decent holiday.

(Now the cast of Hair is performing. The Broadway segments are the ones I tape the parade for, but I've always wondered how well they work out once they get away from the tv filming area and onto the parade route proper.)

She sighed, exasperated, before laughing dryly and picking the phone to order the food.

In episode 1 of season 3, Helena does the tarot card thing which says she will meet a lover, first back to back, then face to face. All the signs point to Alice, but in the end, it is Dylan who is Helena's lover. I was wondering how the whole tarot reading thing related to Dylan because I do not see any connection at all. I hope I'm not rambling.
